Both declarations are generated from a finalised run, so the figures you file always match the payslips you issued.
CNSS declaration
Reports → CNSS report. Select the period and generate.
The bordereau lists, per employee: matricule, CNSS number, capped contribution base, employee share and employer share — with combined totals.
Export as CSV for transmission to the caisse.
The contribution ceiling
CNSS applies to a capped base. Earnings above the ceiling do not attract further contribution. The cap comes from the CNSS rate version in force for the period — which is why verifying the rates matters before filing.
ITS declaration
Reports → ITS report. Select the period and generate.
The declaration shows taxable base, exemptions, deductible CNSS and ITS due per employee, with a per-bracket breakdown.
ITS is calculated on pay after deductible CNSS — the order matters, and the engine applies it for you.
Reconciliation
Both reports show a reconciliation status before you file:
- All lines present and totals agree — safe to file.
- Verification required — something does not balance.
Never file a declaration showing a reconciliation warning. Common causes: an employee missing a CNSS number, a calculation that failed and was not retried, or an adjustment applied after the declaration was generated.
Regenerate after fixing.
Filing
The system produces the documents. It does not file them for you. Submission to the CNSS and the tax administration remains your responsibility, on their deadlines.
Deadline reminders can be enabled so the payroll owner is notified before the period's due date.
Common questions
The totals do not match my payslips. Regenerate the declaration. A declaration generated before an adjustment was applied is stale.
An employee is missing from the CNSS bordereau. Almost always a missing CNSS number on the employee record.
Which rates were used? Whichever version was active and effective for that period. Historical runs keep the rates in force at the time — changing rates now does not rewrite past declarations.
